This school was established on Magh 18, 2029 BS (February 1, 1973) near the Dhangadhi Hulaki Highway, across the Doda River in Vijayapur, under the former Parasan VDC (currently Ward No. 5 of Punarbas Municipality). Around 2031–2032 BS, a flood in the Doda River forced the entire settlement to relocate, leading to the school being moved under the Resettlement Company (Aawasiya Company) to Vikas Basti, located in Ward No. 5 of the former Baisi Bichawa VDC. Initially operated under the name Vijaya Primary School, it has now expanded to offer education up to the Secondary Level (Grade 12).
Currently, the school has 25 teaching staff and administrative employees, with approximately 583 male and female students enrolled in the academic year 2081 BS. The school owns around 5 Bigha and 13 Kattha of registered land in its surroundings.
